Trail Marataba

Start date8 November 2024
End date16 November 2024

Marataba is part of the Marakele National Park, a protected nature reserve. The park was established in 1994, and after regular expansion by buying up agricultural land, it now forms a fully-fledged Big Five malaria-free safari area. In 2003, Marakele National Park was reopened by Nelson Mandela and Prince Bernhard.

There are many species here because Marakele National Park is the transition zone between the dry northwest and the wetter northeast of South Africa; therefore you will find species from both areas here. Marataba lies at the foot of the Waterberg massif: a magnificent mountain range in which very old traces of human habitation have been found.

This Natural Leadership Program in South Africa is a journey of discovery. Awareness of what has shaped you, where you are in your life and what drives you. But also awareness that your head, your feelings and your heart are inextricably linked.
