On Tuesday, April 8, we are hosting an FNL Movie Night at the beautiful IDFA Documentary Pavilion in the Vondelpark, Amsterdam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be watching the breathtaking nature film Songs of Earth together.

In this documentary, filmmaker Margreth Olin follows her 84-year-old father for a year on a deeply personal journey. This journey takes place in his backyard: the spectacular Norwegian valley of Oldedalen. Surrounded by ice-blue glaciers, lush green mountain walls, cascading waterfalls, and vibrant foliage, he shares family stories rooted in generations of history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feast your eyes \u2013 expect stunning visuals, serenity, silence, and encounters with wildlife.
Immerse your ears \u2013 the London Contemporary Orchestra performs a magnificent orchestral score inspired by the sounds of nature, the earth, and shifting glaciers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 19.30, coffee and tea will be ready for you. At 20.00, we begin the program.

After the film, we will have a short discussion about what we have seen and experienced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, there will be time to chat over a drink. The evening concludes around 22:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
