Ian is our local Guide in South-Africa. He started guiding trails in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve from 1990 to 1994. In 1995 he started working in the Umfolozi Game Reserve . In 1996 he joined the Wilderness Leadership School which is aimed (spiritually and philosophically) at people who want to reconnect with the earth, humanity, and spirit through their own understanding of connection. He has also worked with communities around wilderness areas and had the enormous privilege of experiencing in the wilderness how nature heals the rifts between ourselves and our natural world. He sees this reconnection with our larger community as an absolutely essential part of our planet, of hope, for peace on Earth, and peace with the Earth. <\/p>\n
