Maarten travelled and worked around the globe and lived for a number of years across Africa and in France. After a quite intense period working for an emergency relief organisation in the late nineties he spent a summer at the foot of Mt. Robson in the Canadian Rockies and experienced how the raw energy of pure nature revitalises and provides clarity of mind and sense of direction. In the untamed wilderness, where all external signals and impulses dissipate, a form of mental slow motion arises where everything happens in the moment and authenticity floats to the surface. Head and heart reconnect, intuition steps up again, right next to ratio, thus putting everyday life right back into perspective. He returned to the Netherlands with his wife and three sons in 2017, worked as an Interim Manager for several years and currently serves as the CEO of a large agrifood company, producing and selling fresh fruit juices. In his free time he loves to explore the great outdoors, preferably on a mountainbike, sailboat or skis <\/p>\n

In 2022 Maarten took the opportunity to join a FNL personal leaderschip programme which included a trail to the Okavango Delta in Botswana, a truly transformational experience. Becoming a facilitator for FNL was merely a logic next step, driven to share the opportunity with others to experience going on a personal leadership trail with FNL and the impact it may have on themselves and their personal development. <\/p>\n
