The FNL was a starting point in my own personal transformation. As one of the founding members, it was an exciting journey. It was a steep learning curve, but we understood that by connecting and being open, “synchronicity” would show the way and would bring us to where we are today. I have walked six trails, but every time I come back I can take another step forward from the old linear world (full of ego, macho, power, and money) to a more balanced sustainable and circular world. The creation of the “Circular Economy” was highly inspired by nature, as well as the thinking behind the FNL and the many paths I have experienced. Everything I do in my current life is now anchored in this sense of “unity and connectedness”, which makes me feel like a more balanced person and, frankly, I feel a lot better.
The FNL and its wilderness paths play an important role in helping many people and businesses transform, while also becoming aware of our connectedness and our own role in nature, and resisting the urge to control nature. Therefore, it is necessary to find new economic, business, and social models that allow future generations to live a happy and healthy life on our planet.
