Monique Vering

Facilitator and Community Committee

As a native of the Achterhoek, Monique could often be found in the woods as a child. Nature brought her peace, freedom and sometimes the ‘uncanny’ feeling of being alone in the world. At the age of seventeen, she exchanged the east – after some wanderings – for Amsterdam. She still enjoys living there, together with her boyfriend, two children and co-parenting dachshund. For several years now, she has also had a forest house in Wolfheze, where she rediscovered her deep connection with nature.

In 2023, Monique went on a trail to Botswana with FNL. An overwhelming experience that made her realize how everything is connected and how important it is to let go and slow down. As a facilitator, she would like to pass on that experience. Helping people to return to their own base, so that new insights arise and choices are made from within. Together with nature as the ‘supreme facilitator’. Monique has been working at the intersection of HR, communication and entrepreneurship for over 25 years. She has worked in corporate environments, start-ups and social organizations. As an independent social entrepreneur, she helps people and organizations to bring their ideals closer and to make visible who they are at their core. She brings peace, creates safety and gives words to what wants to be said.
