Pieter Ligthart

Pieter Ligthart (1973) is partner at Russell Reynolds Associates and certified coach. He comes from North Holland and grew up in Brabant before studying Applied Physics at TU Delft. Pieter is the partner of Mark and together they have two daughters. Pieter goes on trail once a year on average. For Pieter a trail is like an APK for the soul. In nature he comes to himself, and asks himself questions like: where am I now? How am I doing? How do I feel? And where do I want to go? Pieter: “I notice that over the years my questions develop. There is less struggle and more gratitude for everyone who is in my life. By the way, wrestling is also welcome on the trail. Everything is allowed to be there. I am always curious who will step into the trail and what the group will look like. Every participant will bring something to another participant and vice versa. It’s a surprise every time. Everyone is welcome!”
