As a facilitator of nature trails, I like taking you into nature and connecting you with the beauty of silence and the pureness of life. In my professional life I am responsible for a European real estate company as well as a board member of the operational company. This is where I discovered the power of natural leadership. Businesswise, we describe ourselves as a disruptor in hospitality. We create ecosystems where people feel at home, a place where diverse individuals of different ages come together, around the themes of “learn, stay, work and play”. Translating this to me as a facilitator; I like to create a setting where people gain peace and confidence in order to forge a deeper and conscious bond with their environment. I grew up as a Frisian farmer’s son, matured by living in various international cities, and today I am back in the countryside. In Durgerdam we as a family have integrated our personal and professional worlds. Embracing nature, with a focus on the meadow bird and the wide water of the Markermeer. I have a passion for outdoor activity; trail running, open water swimming, sailing and ice-skating.
