Wim Plaizier

After more than 30 years in business (Shell and Kearney), Wim is now mainly active in the field of nature conservation, sustainable development and leadership. He has been involved with African Parks, Africa’s largest conservation NGO, since 2018, including serving as the interim COO for a 16-month period. In 2018 and 2019, he completed INSEAD’s Executive Master of Change program and combines his interest in sustainable development in Africa with connecting leaders with nature. Wim is father of three adult sons and lives with Robertien in the middle of nature in Naarden. Besides Africa, he has a passion for the Swiss mountains.
