New Director: Mark Jacobs

Dear all,

We have great news: Mark Jacobs will be the new director of the Foundation for Natural Leadership as of May 1, 2026!

Mark is not new to the FNL and has been associated with us for years; as a facilitator, as a co-initiator of the Sustainable Banking trail and as someone who not only understands our mission, but also really carries it within him.

He has guided dozens of leadership journeys and knows firsthand what a trail brings about: the pause that creates space, the self-insight that is released, the renewed direction that people find. And with his background as HR director, he also sees what that means for an organization as a living system, because when leaders change their position, the culture around them moves with it.

He listens before he steers, makes room before he solves and he knows the FNL as a community, not just as an organization. Exactly the energy and attention that this phase requires.

From now on, Mark will focus entirely on the FNL. We are very happy and grateful that he is taking this step.
