Time19.30 – 22.30 hours
LocationAmsterdam

On Tuesday, April 8, we are hosting an FNL Movie Night at the beautiful IDFA Documentary Pavilion in the Vondelpark, Amsterdam.

We will be watching the breathtaking nature film Songs of Earth together.

In this documentary, filmmaker Margreth Olin follows her 84-year-old father for a year on a deeply personal journey. This journey takes place in his backyard: the spectacular Norwegian valley of Oldedalen. Surrounded by ice-blue glaciers, lush green mountain walls, cascading waterfalls, and vibrant foliage, he shares family stories rooted in generations of history.

Feast your eyes – expect stunning visuals, serenity, silence, and encounters with wildlife.
Immerse your ears – the London Contemporary Orchestra performs a magnificent orchestral score inspired by the sounds of nature, the earth, and shifting glaciers.
